HAWKSWELL KILVINGTON TAKE PART IN BUSINESS FIVES FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

On 15 February 2024 the Hawkswell Kilvington team participated in the Leeds Business Fives football tournament.

The challenge was to be competitive but most important raise more funds for our chosen charity Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Four gruelling games later and a few minor injuries we made it to the knockout phase only to lose out to a questionable goal that VAR would have probably got right, but that’s football.

The event raised over £3500 for local and national charities while the Hawkswell Team contributed almost £200 to Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Well Done to Dan, Tom, Jonathan, Matt, Matthew and Danny for their sterling efforts against strong competition.
