JCT has now published the long-awaited 2024 edition of the Design and Build Contract family. Users of the JCT suite will be keen to know how the 2024 edition differs from the 2016 edition. The seminar will cover the key drafting changes in the JCT Design and Build Contract 2024, which follow three main themes:

• Changes in law. Amendments reflecting recent legislative changes and court decisions, including Part 2A of the Building Regulations.
• Contractor protections. Improved rights for Contractors, including new grounds to claim extensions of time.
• Modernisation. Drafting changes to reflect current industry practice, including a greater emphasis on collaboration.
